24 December – it’s Christmas Eve! Always set the table the day before. Get out your plates and serving dishes for each course and don’t forget to fill the salt and pepper! Also don’t forget that Santa’s helper, Rudolf, loves to eat Yorkshire organic carrots and that Santa is a Sloe Gin fan (lets all do our best to keep him happy).

23 December - before making your bread sauce, marinate the bread overnight in milk with some black peppercorns, a bay leaf, onion and a few cloves. Then make the bread sauce the next day for a wonderful velvety finish.
